The Hector Exhibit Centre was built on July 21st, 1973 as a project by the National Government in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the landing of the Ship Hector. It is used to host a range of exhibits, some of which are annual events and others which are special exhibits. The Hector Exhibit Centre and Archives is a part of the Pictou County Genealogy and Heritage Society. We also run the McCulloch House Museum, located at the same address as the Exhibit Centre. Our archives host a great volume of genealogy and heritage information, avaliable for public viewing.
