Planning Your School Visit
Booking Programs: All programs are booked on a first come, first served basis. Bookings can be made for the time and date that best meets your needs. However, some programs are designed to take place outdoors, so keep this in mind when booking during the winter months as these programs will not be avaliable. Group Size: Tours and programs can accommodate two classes, or a total of approximately 60 students.Admission Payment: There is no cost for school groups to participate in our programs. However, we do accept a donation to offset the cost of programming, as we supply all that is needed for programs and activities. All students will be given a family pass to the Hector Exhibit Centre and McCulloch House Museum so that they can return with their familiy at a later date. Lunch: An area can be provided for your students lunch, by prior arrangement. Children should not bring meals that require heating.Bathrooms: Male and female bathrooms are located near the reception area. They are wheelchair accessible. What to Expect:Prior to your visit:If possible, teachers should divide students into small groups if indicated to do so upon booking (specfically, if you intend to tour The McCulloch House Museum, as there simply isn't space for one large group to tour at once).On Arrival:You will be met on arrival by our staff, who will conduct your program or tour.Donations can be made at the front desk. We accept cash, cheque and VISA. Bathrooms are located in the lobby of The Hector Exhibit Centre.Coats, backpacks and lunches can be left in the exhibit room.Programs:Our programs vary in length.
